How do group class notes work?
If your patient has registered for a group class and they attend that class, they will receive a group class note summary in the Notes section of Maud. If the patient attends this group class for even a moment, it will mark the patient as having attended, or if someone else uses their account to access the group class.
If the patient is registered but does not attend, they will not receive group notes.
Can I void a Group Note?
Group notes aren't copied into individual patient charts, they are just visually represented within the patients or supports who are marked as having attended.
The note itself is attached to the group event so voiding it would void it for everyone (and we don't allow voiding for these types of notes at this time).
Can I edit the attendance of my patient or their support(s)?
Yes! As a provider, you are able to change the group attendance for your patient or their support(s).
Important: Group notes should not be finalized until the group class has ended. Finalizing a group note before it ends may result in incorrect patient/support attendees as the note will be added to all registered users instead of only those who attended the event. Be sure to cross-check the attendee list before finalizing the note.
