How to Avoid Long Amazon Links in Messages

When you need to provide a patient with a link to a product, sometimes that Amazon link can be extremely long. Pasting this into Maud Messages can cause issues with the text of a chat "falling off" of the page, causing you to need to scroll to the right to see all of the chat.

To avoid this happening, it would be better to use Amazon's hidden "short link" option!

Step 1: Go to the page of the product you wish to share to your patient, and on the image of the product look for this icon:

You will find it directly above the picture.

Step 2: When you click on this, you'll see a context menu appear with the option to Copy Link. Press this, and you will copy a small link:

Step 3: Paste that small link into Maud Messages to share. It will allow the patient to access to product without the long link skewing the chat.
