Why is the BodyTrace scale giving inaccurate readings?

If the scale is displaying inaccurate measurements, it could be due to the following reasons:

  • The scale being stored on its side or moved from one location to another.
  • The scale hasn't been allowed to recalibrate when moved (stepping on it immediately after moving it).
  • Using the scale on a carpet instead of a flat surface.

To address this, please follow these steps:

  1. Ensure that the scale is placed on a flat surface such as a tile floor or hardwood floor to get accurate measurements. Avoid using the scale on soft surfaces like carpets.
  2. Allow the scale to recalibrate by waiting for approximately 1 hour before use.
  3. Take two measurements. The second measurement should be accurate as the scale recalibrates after every measurement.
