Why is the BodyTrace scale giving inaccurate readings?

If the scale is displaying inaccurate measurements, it could be due to the following reasons:

  • Using the scale on a carpet instead of a flat surface
  • The scale is stored on its side or moved from one location to another
  • The scale uses cell phone signals and all carrier networks. As long as you have a good cell signal, the device should be able to find a network
  • Try moving the scale close to a window or exterior wall and away from other devices that generate a signal for a better connection.
