JumpCloud Password Reset (Mac)
If you're unable to log into your Mac, we ask that you please reach out to our Support Team with a ticket so that we can help you with resetting your password.
We will send you directions on how to reset your password, and this will also include a recovery key and a temporary password that must be changed. Below are directions on how to update your password after you have regained access and logged into your computer.
- In the taskbar at the top, please look for this icon:
2. Click that, and you will see the following:
If you mouseover where it says, "Your device password is up-to-date" you will see it say, "Reset Password."
Click that, and you will then be able to reset it to something you can remember.
3. Once done, please log out of your Mac and re-log in with the new password.
You now have full access to your laptop again!
